Now you must apply a HEALTHY coat of Vaseline over the entire surface of the cast. This will keep the fiber-glass from sticking to the cast.

Be sure to cover every spot, including the edges of the cast. I find that it helps if you use a bright light to reflect off the surface of the cast. Look for dull (non-shiny) spots to see if you missed anywhere.
